First scene: Purpose speech

【Important speech】Thank you Xia Yan

【Zeng Xiaoyan

Also] We will hold this very small academic discussion here tomorrow. One reason is that Teacher Xia Hai has had many breakthrough thoughts about national religion in recent years. These thoughts are very innovative for us to understand that modern religion in China, that is, all the so-called Confucianism, of course, also includes Taoism and sects. Moreover, because Teacher Xia is 80 years old this year, our meeting at the age of 10 years has a hot spot or a hot body. These two points are the beginning of our meeting tomorrow. The above first asks the teacher for giving a purpose statement.

【Thank you for the good news】I thank you for the meeting and for the many companions who came from afar. The master read the collection of essays. The first meeting record was organized by Guo Xiaodong, and later it was also published by Xiaodong. However, the article I saw today is an unedited manuscript, which was later published on Confucianism. Some of the contents, such as the term “Less Cult”, are lost in the official posting. The collection of essays also contains three articles published in “Revival Report”. In some cases, I have to thank the editor of the study, Wang Yonghao and the editor of Chen Yaqian. It was very difficult and they realized their importance. These articles were first published in 2017 and were officially published in 2022. After some revisions, they were considered more mature when they were published.

These words about national religions in the end were still thoughts inspired by Yang Qingkun’s works. However, we are philosophical, and we are more familiar with the analysis of concepts. Therefore, I hope that in the foundation of Yangqingkun, we will also include other students in the country, such as Mou Jingzhang, to carry out some perfect or promotional tasks.

As far as we are concerned about China’s religious problems, it ultimately stems from the early reading of Tonbi’s “History Research”. It was still in 1970 that Mao Zedong summoned philosophy, which allowed us to read many Oriental translations that had been banned for many years. At that time, I was detained and investigated at the Qing Dynasty. My two younger brothers, Xie Song and Xie Pinyin, took this opportunity to buy some banned books, including “History Research”. Later, I was assigned to Nantong to be a middle school teacher. During this period, I read this book and wrote very detailed notes. It can be said that the impact of Tonbi on the relationship between civilization and religion has been very great on our three brothers. Thanks to the first draft of “River” written after choosing the first draft. The yellow plate and blue mentioned in it were affected by Tonbi. As for the three civilizations that I proposed in 2014 that influenced the current Chinese civilization.Zhang, also related to the impact of this book.

From October 1965 to early June 1966, I was a four-star team member in the suburbs of Beijing. After returning to school, I entered the Cultural Revolution. Because my nature is not active, I have to think about it when I participate in sports. In the next year, the hot weather in 1967, I gradually faded out of the sports. During this period, when I chatted with my friends around me, I had some insights into the Cultural Revolution, such as criticizing the mission team assigned by the Beijing Municipal Committee. At that time, a case was found to investigate a so-called counter-argumental tag. Someone took the opportunity to investigate me and found many people who had been talking to me and had contacts to reveal me. In this way, I was caught out and labeled as a “May 16 Anti-Rebel”. These remarks at that time included a rough understanding of the religious meaning of the Cultural Revolution, which later formed the judgment that “the Cultural Revolution was a religious movement, or one of the major reactions in civilization was religious movement.” I also remember that at the 1965 National People’s War to Resist the U.S., our Qinghua parade team passed the Jinshui Bridge and clearly saw that the Tiananmen City Building was at the Jinshui Bridge. At that time, the Qinghua team was between the Jinshui Bridge and the city building, which was very forward, because there was no ordinary gathering meeting. That time we were set behind the Jinshui Bridge, and we could clearly see the people on the city building as soon as we lifted our heads. At that time, Peng Zhen was standing in the middle, Liu Shaoqi and Mao Zedong were lying on both sides, and Sihanouk was behind Mao Zedong. Liu Shaoqi seemed to be in a bad mood that day, and he kept holding his hand and blowing his nose. At that time, we should shout, what is the fun thing? We should have shouted “Defeat the US imperialism and support the Vietnamese people to fight against the US.” As a result, this vocal number only shouted one or two, and it turned into an ordinary “Chairman Mao’s age” that was full of mountains and seas. This kind of crazy heat is very similar to the hustle and bustle of religious feelings. My classmates shouted “Chairman Mao is thousands of years old” and jumped around, as long as I was standing there quietly. At that time, the head of our class was working in the Beijing Electric Power Department, and I remember that he looked at me, and that look was like looking at an anti-rebel. Actually, I was observing at that time, and of course I was not that crazy. The students shouted too much. Later, Liu Shaoqi stretched out his arms and pressed his lower body, wanting to tell the master not to shout, but no one heard it. It was not until Chairman Mao also reached out to press the master, and the master stopped and regained it several times.

The main reason is that this incident, Mao Zedong felt that the people were available at this time, so he had the method to launch the Cultural Revolution later. Since the transformation and opening up, many statues of Chairman Mao who were in concert were taken away due to opposition to personal sciences, and later the work of Dharma and Rotary Movement occurred. These two things made me realize that people actually have strong religious needs. Therefore, in the concluding section of the article “Kang Youwei: Confucianism’s Relief Exiting National Religion”: “I think Kang Youwei’s subsequent social history in China, and the new religions and cults are undesirable, which proves that people have religious needs and are very thirsty and do not eat.”

In addition, it has caused me to be interested in religious issues, and there are some reasons, such as the eighty years ofIn the academic community, I came to the discussion on “Can Confucianism be religious”, Fan Lizhu asked me to write a review of the book “Religion in Chinese Society” translated by Yang Qingkun. I often discuss this problem with Xie Shengpin. However, the most direct comfort is the Confucian discussions that have been triggered again in these years with the rejuvenation of Confucianism.

Secondly, I want to discuss the methods discussed in the way that religious research is exposed. Most people regard Christianity as a model and stipulate what religion is. Some scholars discuss the definition of religion. Many people like this, and whether or not they are moving is how to define it. We understand that definition is ordinary, which means that after a tree establishes a category, it has a species, and then defines it. In fact, the definition is about what its status is in the classification system? The definition is ordinary. Therefore, before defining, some items must be classified into a unified type, such as religion as a gathering, and then some items must be included, and it is usually to bring all the observed social organizations. However, when harvesting, there will be an advanced view. There will be some established regulations first, and those who have not harvesting are not considered religious. So we have to study the advanced view that it cannot be established, so it is a major step to set up trees and gather together.

The researchers who grew up in Eastern Christian civilization will most likely have advanced experiences because of their familiar phenomena. Especially under the academic norms of social science that emphasizes the principle of practicality, they see it as reality and speak according to the data, and the data is subject to advanced insights, which often make wrong judgments. I found a very strange phenomenon. Hegel said that the emperor was the pope, and China had a state religion based on the situation of the Qing Dynasty that he knew at that time. Hegel saw it very clearly, and contemporary Oriental researchers seemed to be completely unclear about Hegel’s things. They just talk about customs and often speak in a limited manner based on data. When they see these, they do not do historical research. So some of the judgments they made are actually worthy of doubt.

There are two types of phenomena that are ignored, one is the modern religious situation in China, and the other is contemporary religion. Regarding contemporary religion, I think the limitations of the eyes of those researchers in the East are very large. The info TC:
